With a rigorous rehearsal schedule, and a continued focus on writing and recording new music, Crude Awakening is a mainstage act, worthy of opening or headlining and ready to rock.
Even if it’s only for a fleeting moment, Crude Awakening aims to make people feel euphoric, to separate ourselves from any grind our lives might experience and bring the adulation and connection that is possible through music.

JC Mellow - Lead Guitar
JC Mellow is the guy everyone wants in their band and, why not? Did we mention, he can sing harmonies? Can he make a guitar wail? Umm, ya…to both questions. Have a listen. Blistering solos live and in the studio. Through the years, he generated a catalogue of catchy original riffs that have formed the basis of studio recordings for Crude Awakening. Mellow sounds like everyone’s choice for a lead guitar player, right?!
GT VonLeigh - Lead Vocals
VonLeigh started singing to audiences in front of mass choirs at 7 years old. From there, he was trained in opera and entered the rock era after being approached to join a band.

When you hear Blain play, it’s obvious, he is well versed in rock music. After auditioning for Crude Awakening, Erruption said, “he is exactly what this project needs.” The next day, Blain was part of Crude Awakening.
